Both sides have provided support to each other to push forward agricultural cooperation of SCO. To further promote future cooperation, Qu put forward a three-point proposal:
first, create a favorable investment environment for enterprises, intensify cooperation in food safety, and boost mutual investment and agricultural trade;
second, beef up S&T exchanges and human resource development cooperation;
third, strengthen cooperation on multilateral issues under the framework of FAO and SCO.
On behalf of Minister Han Changfu, Vice Minister Qu invited Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the upcoming G20 Agriculture Ministers Meeting in Xi'an in early June.
Isayeva Gulmira Sultanbaevna fully agreed with Qu on his suggestions and underlined that Kazakhstan is ready to work together with China to push forward agricultural cooperation.
